    Show your new tool arrivals

Interesting. Mine cycles several times with the original screw on chuck. I haven't noticed any difference using the JACO extension. It seems to cycle just the same.

FYI, as an alternative the Jaco S2X hose screws right onto the existing M18 inflator, and works incredibly well. https://a.co/d/0bwZIUnk

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

I received mine yesterday. The first thing I noticed is that they aren't as ergonomic as the Doyle scissors I have next to them in the toolbox. They don't feel the best in the hand. They do cut well, however.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I realize that this is a Milwaukee thread, but I have the HF Bauer battery powered vacuum. With their new 12.0 battery it actually works quite well and has plenty of run time for me. Might be an alternative for those that don't want to spend the money on the Milwaukee.

Are these pliers useful or useless?

I love these pliers, but I wish I could find a smaller set that works on ATV / motorcycle fuel lines. Typically, the smallest pliers in the sets of 3 are just a bit too big for these lines. Has anyone found a mini pair that works on the thinner OD 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" fuel lines?

Do You want discussions scrapped from Hot Deals?

I don't have alerts set up, but I still check the deals page every day. I like a little bit of discussion that relates to the specific deals. Sometimes it can get a bit off track, but usually someone makes note of that and we're good to go again. For me the status quo has been working well.

    JIS screwdriver

I was suspicious of your suspicions, so I decided to drag the Vessel and Milwaukee screwdrivers out of my box to take another look. I learned something new on the dimple, so I appreciate that. This example shows the screws of a brake lever assembly on a mid-90's Kawasaki Bayou 300 4x4. I see...

    JIS screwdriver

I ordered one of these a couple of years ago after reading about JIS here on Garage Journal. I work on a lot of older Kawasaki, Honda, and Yamaha ATVs, and thought it would be beneficial. I've found that my Milwaukee screwdrivers seem to fit tighter and work better than the Vessel JIS. My...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

I've seen some of the recent discussion on the $140.00 eBay 12.0 batteries. It looks like it's still inconclusive as to whether you're getting a real Milwaukee battery. The $399.99 price tag for three is good, but I'm really only in need of one battery. Are there any eBay sellers that we can...

Menards vise apparently HF knockoff (pics)

I do quite all kinds of light duty mechanical work. Many years ago I bought a mid-grade vice that at the time was reasonably priced. It works fine, and has done everything I've asked of it. Maybe I don't use mine enough to notice a difference, but I've never understood the need to purchase a...

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

I hate to be that guy, but does anyone have a 25% off HF coupon they don't plan to use? I'm looking at a rather large purchase very soon. Feel free to PM if you have one you'd like to part with. Thanks!

Need a tool to reset fuel composition on 2013 Silverado

I went through the exact same scenario with my 2013 GMC, and I also own a BlueDriver. My issue was caused by a bad mass airflow sensor which resulted in the skewed alcohol content. I replaced the sensor and then had a local shop reset the alcohol content back to 10% with their Snap-on scan...

    My Dremel *****

This is one area where I've always felt there needs to be a tool in between the size of a Dremel and a typical die grinder. Either a more robust Dremel, or a slightly smaller and more intricate die grinder. My M12 rotary tool is often slightly too small for the job, and my die grinder is...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Thanks, but that's a bit more than some of the other places that I've found so far. I was thinking I saw it for around $100.00 over Christmas. I see Amazon has it for around $140.00. I'll keep looking as I'm in no hurry. I appreciate the response.
