I feel the same way as you. I actually like the comfort grips, but the "knuckles" at the front just prevent them from going in and out of a pocket.

Thanks for this update, this is exactly the info I was looking for. Interesting that they are selling as separates. The price has likely gone up to cover the increased size/gauge. The series 1 is likely still a very good deal (at $279).
