Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Am I the only one around here that uses Search Tempest to search all of Craigslist at once? Also works for Zuckbook Marketplace if you're into that sort of thing. It's pretty simple to use, just plug in a few key words and search.

Sorry, just saw this! I never had an issue due to the length, but I did have an issue with not filling the lines with fluid before I ran them. I was constantly having issues bleeding the cylinders and getting all of the air out. I think in the end I never managed to do so as I was always...

Anyone looking for a cheap Craftsman 100 drill press near New Hampshire? $20 I ran across this one: https://nh.craigslist.org/tls/d/concord-craftsman-drill-press/7788158656.html

Craftsman Drill Press Information Belts, Bearings, Chucks, Keys, etc…1946-1984

Just wanted to take a moment and thank you for putting this together! I'm considering picking up a vintage drill press for my future garage and educating myself is much needed. I've always been a fan of US made Craftsman products since my youth, so having one of these 100 or 150s in my garage...

I miss that lift and garage! We moved in 2021, sold the house and we moved to a house with a slab on deck, so I can't use the lift and had to sell it. Anyway, let me answer your post as best I can going off of memory... IIRC there was enough space around the ends of the anchors to account for...

I'm no engineer, but barring any earthquakes and the minimal vibration from normal use I agree that 50 ft/lbs is probably sufficient. I don't really have anyone to ask since DANNMAR includes the wedge design and Wej-it will probably tell me to ask DANNMAR lol Thanks for the tip.

That's a really good point. I hadn't considered that the design differences between the anchors could change the torque values. It makes sense that the wedge style would have a much higher load to account for friction to hold them in place. How did you come to 50 ft/lbs? I think next time I...

OP updated Jack still going strong! I get some weeping from the cylinder seals but nothing much to worry about. I still have air in the farthest line but I keep working on bleeding the system. Running the lift at full extension when doing this also helps.

This is what I used and had no issue with it curing rapidly. This was in 70* weather with low humidity. https://www.strongtie.com/epoxyanchoringadhesives_adhesives/et-hp_adhesive/p/et-hp

Lift still going strong! I've had some fluid weeping from the junction block, but nothing I'm too worried about. Different car in the stable now, too:

If your hardware cloth is long enough and can create a "tube" between the bottom of the slab and the dirt in the void, you can fill it with enough epoxy to have it protrude up and around the anchor.

Hey thanks, but I can't take all the credit. Before I did my install, I read a bunch of threads on here and on the web to get ideas. This has been done before. Doesn't work so well when you want to keep moving the posts around, but I guess you could always coil it up and let it hang from the...
