I have a Ridgid RC 1625 pvc cutter, which is a very nice pipe cutter. But, in a dirt/soil/irrigation conditions, the tool would jammed up. I have to open it up after every job and clean it.
Anyone have a recommendation on pipe cutter in this area?

I have the black version. The metal is soft. Wire cutter is all messed up.
I stay with my Leatherman.

Op is talking about Icon not The HF torque wrench.
Speaking of checking for calibration every 6 months, I double check my HD torque wrench (back when it was made in USA) with a torque adapter before I use it every time.
When I did my research on this set, many complained the same.
Over all, $50 for 42 pieces is not a bad deal, it just wasn’t going to be pretty.
In the end, I went with Gearwrench metrics set instead.
