Its a Mr Heater Big Maxx 75000 btu. Yes i'm running a thimble. I did buy some 3m red type sealant. I also picked up some duct work sealant from Home Depot.

The instructions for my heater state to fill the cavity around the B vent with 350 degree Silastic. Were do you find this stuff. I found some 3M fire rated type caulk but no Silastic. Can anyone help me with this.

Should you run a B vent through the wall & what seals the vent line between the vent & the wall thimble. Also were can i get a 4 inch cap for a Horizontal install.

I'm planning on running a gas line from the house to my garage & was wondering what size line i would need. It is going to be a 200 foot run. I'm going to be hooking up a 75,000 btu heater.

Thanks for the info. I did call several vendors & they all said 24,000 btu. Since no one can guarantee anything on what kind of heat i will get out of this i've decided to go with a Mr Heater 75,000 Natural gas heater.

There prices are #1 & 2 also. Unfortunately i dont have unlimited funds.

I've looked at the specs. I need a 24,000 btu unit. What i need to know is how well these work in colder climates. Are any of these brands any good. Grunaire,Pridiom,Kilmaire, or Ramsond.

I'm having issues trying to decide which one to buy. I'm in Ohio & my garage is 24x36. Are the Klimair units any good. I've been looking at the inverter style units but i just dont know what to go with. Anybody have one of these in the North & how do they do in the Winter. Thanks

I purchased t8 shop lights from Lowes for $29.00 & the lights are instant on in the cold weather. Also they put out some nice light.

I have the power ball & think its awesome. Took me ten minutes to polish 4 wheels which used to take an hour. Also i did not get dirty.

I just purchased r13 for the walls & r30 for the ceiling from Lowes for a 24x36 garage & it cost me around $800.00. They were running a rebate so i got $225.00 of that back.
