Can anything beat these pry bar set for this price range?

I’m a big fan of the Wilde (advertised as Wilde, Craftsman, and other brands): As you see, I have the types with the strike cap and the smooth handles.

Another What garden tractor to buy thread.

You are describing what’s known as a subcompact utility tractor (SCUT). The most common are going to be the Kubota BX and MF GC-series. The JD 1-series is considered a SCUT, but is a bit larger than the Kubota BX. They often get compared, just because they are each the smallest tractor each...

How do you "winterize" a power washer?

I use this stuff (picture below). Screw it on the water inlet and pull the starter cord a few times (ignition off), until the fluid starts shooting out the water outlet. I bought my Generac 6590 in March 2015 and it’s still going as strong today, as back then. It’s stored in my uninsulated...

Committing To Cordless / Experimenting With Airless

I don’t ever plan to go without an air setup. If for no other reason, it’s so much easier to ensure proper inflation of the 25 tires at my house. I don’t have a big battery impact, yet. My 1/2” air impact is really the tool I use the most. The rest have gone electric. With that said, the 60...

    Shop air lines

I went with black steel pipe. Biggest issue I currently have is one of my valves at the bottom of a drop no longer works. I’m not sure what happened. I can turn it and feel it turn, but it doesn’t even slow the air down. Right now, it’s not an issue. I’ll fix it, one of these days. Shortly...

    Someone needs a new trailer

If that was Plan A, wow. They didn’t even get them all off the pallet. Fail.

    Pratt-Read is closing

So, you’re saying my MasterForce screwdrivers were made on the old P-R tooling, after it was moved to Illinois? Or did I misunderstand?

    Pratt-Read is closing

If PR closed ten years ago, who has been making the “Made in USA” MasterForce screwdrivers, from Menards? I have this set, it’s been great (it’s not sold as a set, I bought what I wanted, individually):

Tell me if I'm being too fussy about a level.

I‘m back. To my great surprise, all three of my regular levels passed the tests, as described. The yellow Stanley is fairly old, I think it’s the one I got, in high school, 20 years ago. The two Empires were bought in the last 4-7 years.

Tell me if I'm being too fussy about a level.

I hate this place…..Now, I have to go check all of my levels.

Power Washer Pumps. Cat or AAA?

My AR has been great. It’s on a Generac (lowest “commercial grade” unit).

    Question about adhesives

So…..I tried to draw a picture. If it’s clear as mud, let me know. The top part is supposed to be a side view of the bottom picture.

    Question about adhesives

Tether the two pieces so they can’t be taken apart, but can still be adjusted. You could simply use the existing holes and a small chain that would be held to each side, by a bolt and nut set.
