Thank you. For an 8' ceiling height, is it still recommended to have lenses or does it not matter with led?

I need to light a 22x24 garage and I like the layout posted in post #15https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4832416&postcount=15 Is there a recommendation for that layout with led fixtures? I'm not sure what to go with. I'm not opposed to doing a t8 but I'd rather do led if that...
