LOL hell no. The car is completely up on jacks, I put the wheels underneath the body from habit. Softener is probably going to have to stay where it is unfortunately (other side of the wall is the kitchen).

All good points, I actually do quite a bit of work on my cars (3). Never pulled a motor on my own though (never had a garage to do it either though...). The garage is going to be just the for the cars, everything else is stored appropriately away. I'll definitely check out the google sketchup...

well hot damn howdy from Round Rock, TX! We just bought a house up near IKEA/Outlet Malls and I'm itching to get started on my garage.

How durable is something like this versus say epoxy? Sorry if this is a rudimentary question but I'm not familiar with acid staining. What is the cost of something like this? I'll be moving into my first house (in round rock) come May and would love to have something like this done in the garage...
