Guys, how did you connect the vent to the back of the heater. Did you add a couple sheet metal screws to keep it in place or use tape or?
Also, I see some of you are using a firestop plate where it goes through the ceiling. I was going to just use one half of a wall thimble. Any problem with this?
I just bought a Honeywell CT31A for my 45K heater. I am thinking I may have bought the wrong thermostat. They back of the heater has the following terminals:
C W G R
The Thermostat only has Y G R W
Did I get the wrong one?
I used Super-Strut for my 45K unit. I got everything at Home Depot. I used the spring loaded nuts and 3/8 threaded rod to install.

It's 24x24. The ceiling is vaulted 9ft at the wall and around 14.5ft at the middle.

Well, it turned out great! Thanks for all the tips. No bleed through and the edges are nice and crisp. Even on my textured surface. One thing the lady at Home Depot said helps is after you apply the Frog tape wipe over it with a damp cloth. It helps activate the adhesive to prevent bleed...
