I'm a marketing communications person with earlier duties in higher education as a professor and department administrator.
Much of my work has been to identify, prepare, and deliver appropriate. and often, corrective messages to end users for various clients. I have skills with production and application of media, including print, various format still, professional motion pictures, broadcast and cable television, and most other types of electronic media.
Important non-academic education has been life, travel, aviation, a personal "wish list", friends, and acquaintances.
In my environment, accuracy and truth are requirements, always, no exceptions.
I like to work, especially with talented and creative people, but I don't care a hoot for, and go lengths to avoid, so called "arteeists", and especially, "screamers" of any ilk.
I look for museums, historical places, and a good flea market, and have been known to screech tires when one suddenly appears. I find working with my hands cathartic. I fix things. Good tools of all sorts are a passion. They're not for display. They are tuned, used, and cared for.
And finally, while I enjoy a mix of people and cultures, I reserve the right to prefer only the company of my animals
