    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

I would like to get something like this for lawn tractors and ATV's. Do they make side extensions for it by chance? I saw someone once say yes, but I never did find them. Do you feel it would be ok to use in that capacity? Thanks

Costco Whalen vs. Harbor Freight 44"

SS box drawers only hold 30lbs each? Fail.

    Here's a deal on Kroil

I think it smells like Lysol. Stopped using it when each and every can I took out of the case we had would spray everywhere but out the nozzle. Boss got some replacements, same deal. It may work ok, but it tastes like hell and does sting the eyes. After it sprays your face so much it drips...

Just got this to hang on wall, garage art if you will. Was cheap enough. All chrome, and yes, made in China. Not actual pic, still in box.

Protecting Bare Metal on a Bench-Top Drill Press?

This ^^^^ I buy it by the case as we use it for so many things in the shop. I also use it on my fleet of PWC to keep corrosion from even starting. Contact them as sometime you can get deals on cases that have been shipped and maybe one can leaked. Not many people want a "greasy can", so they...

I have worked for Toro dealers for many years. That being said, I am not partial to any one brand, as now I work on every make and model made. I tell it like it is, and doing such gets me in trouble at times with some manufacturers. Oh well...but it has led to a few manufacturers making changes...

I think something around a 24-26" would do you ok, just would take a little more time. Remember, Simplicity is now mostly Murray. We all know what junk they are. Something to think about: At the previous Simplicity dealer I worked for, they would tell customers to push down the on the handles...

Rubber today is used in a generic meaning Please look up ratings for R7 and up fuel hose. Then you will see why they fall apart. Wanna see some "rubber" float seats? New in package straight from one of my parts suppliers? Check out Briggs "new" "emission" fuel hose. Still not even rated...

Most B&S engines are about equal in quality. IIRC the only diff between those two you listed above is the sticker. One say B&S SS, the other B&S. Under a grand, well .... try and get one with either a B&S or Tecumseh Snow King, which btw is not being made any more. * That may change as the...

Ask this dealer if he knows the difference between R7 and R8 fuel line? And just what it is. Then ask him about R9. If he knows this, he will know each ones intended use. Most fuel problems in small engine today are from the end user, and The Shop mechanics not knowing. They are stuck in the...

Gas is reformulated about 14 or so times a year depending on you local. Using gas "in season" is your best bet. Ethanol, even just 10% does and will harm fuel hose, and your carbs float seat (if not Viton) Rubber hose will turn to jelly, or just "flake apart" from the inside. Use Stabil, even...
