Gear puller worked great to remove the sleeve and easily slip on the new belt. Thanks for everyone's help. Repowered with 3-phase and VFD. Purrs like a kitten!

Yes... thought about it but assumed a good quality solid belt would result in the best performance. Am I wrong?

Quick update. Was able to spin the sleeve using channel locks. Good news, but how best to remove it from the top (which seems to be the only way). Pulley puller in gripping from the grove? Thanks

Thanks guys for the quick replies. No set screws in either side, so at least that's not holding in the sleeve. BTW - I thought those holes were for attaching a belt cover (which I don't have and that's fine)? Since no set screws holding in the sleeve, the mystery is how to get that sleeve out of...
