    I don’t know. Like I said, I’ll prob take it to my friend whose a machinist abs get him to square up everything and if need be cut a new ledge.

    More so an optical illusion. There is some wear but it makes contact in more than one spot thats for sure

    Yes I saw that. One day I’ll get it all squared up by the machine shop. But for now it’ll get the job done.

    Maybe next 50 year restoration lol. I thought about it, but it’s a working tool, so I wasn’t trying for perfection that’s for sure. But I definitely purely understand where you’re coming from!

    Mid 1970’s 3.5” Wilton bullet nose machinist vise, with 7” opening and full swivel base. Took the vise fully apart and stripped it to bare metal, copper hammer finished it after ultra sonic cleaning every part and making sure she runs like a top! Really happy with how it came out!
