I don't know enough about these and have never tore into one. I have a piston 30 gallon big box special. It hasn't been used that much and is 5-6 years old. I run it when I need it. When it goes on, I can hear something click once and the same thing click once again when it goes off. I'm...
Last summer I bought a pair of cheapish hiking boot from Keen that were discounted. Around $100 full priced. The sole support inside the shoe split within a week of use. I emailed Keen and they didn't care either. FYI.
I've ordered from him twice. The first order about a year ago shipped in 3 weeks. Listed in stock.
I ordered a couple items this summer listed on his site as in stock. It's been pushing 90 days.
I emailed him once with no response. Even a "they are on order, covid..." would have been...
I'm not sure about the dust collection just with how I want to do it or if I want to somehow block the top floor from the bottom floor. I'll probably just have a single hose go to a dust collector that I move around instead of setting up dedicated ducting. Then I'll just move the hose around.
I'm doing one now. I question the logic of it, but it's my only option. It's the second floor of the garage.
It's been slow going getting set up. As I get heavy things, I dismantle them and take them up the stairs with others. I've debated putting a chain hoist in so I can move some stuff...
OP here. Thanks everyone, I learned a lot about a few things I hadn't thought about.
I go from working on priceless items to rusty old junk at this point in life. Basically, I finally got super mad at an out of spec socket I had this week (working on a lawn mower). I was finally like...
My dad let me design the last building he put up on the ranch because I was around for a few years after grad school. We argued a lot about it. A lot.... It's more of a fun building and smaller equipment workshop than anything. 60x60.
He went with my design and loves it. I had two giant...
Thanks for all the input everyone!
First, I want to say I don't run chrome on an impact ever.
Most of our hand stuff on the ranch was old SK and I've used a lot of it in jobs in the past. I trusted it. There was also a lot of old craftsman and a smattering of snap on. I say old...I'm...
Thanks! I don't feel that way at all. I just am constantly working on stuff now and time is my most precious resource. I'm just sick of fighting my cheap and worn out sockets. I just want to get some of the best and forget about it.
I didn't say this in the beginning, but I grew up in ag...
