Re: From losing everything to being cash-poor and shop-rich in "only" five years! That looks bee-utiful! Of course beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder. You should probably bee more careful! The bee probably just wanted you to buzz off! You know Bee-yonce has a new song out with Megan...

I vote for smooth & polish. You can always beadblast if you don't like the way it looks after polishing.

Indeed - Jess, you inspired me to finally refurbish and upgrade the Harbor Freight motorcycle lift table that I have had sitting around with stuff piled on top of it for ages. I don't think I took any before/after photos, but I removed the HF wheel vise and replaced it with a much larger and...

    Clemson13's New Garage AND Shop

I love the property - a detached shop and attached garage seems the best of both worlds. I am a huge fan of the Ubiquiti UniFi stuff too. When I remodel, I am planning to use a PoE Switch and WAPs too - they just work so well at work and are so affordable. I also like the fact that PoE allows...

Re: Mobile Vise Brilliant! I have that same vice and have been trying to think of a good way to use it (particularly to rebuild MC forks with a set of soft jaws) and that is perfect! I will be looking to copy you!

Gregor's tungsten grinder got me thinking that I could 3D print a collar that'd work just fine for my purposes. Just before I fired up CREO and grabbed my Dremel and a set of calipers I decided to do a google search and behold: https://forum.weldingtipsandtricks.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8813...

One of my favorite youtube videos of all time is AvE's breakdown of an old Milwaukee Sawzall. Thanks for reminding me to revisit it! (video below, his channel is definitely worth a follow!)

The (RV Manufacturing Corp) hydraulic floor jack find

got a quick reply today: "Race Street was off Pine Street directly behind the buildings on Main Street. The street was removed when the parking ramp was constructed. No idea on RV. I will take a look" The semi-circular structure in this picture is the parking ramp. So Race street was very...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

I contacted the Niagara County Historian's Office: (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Niagara-County-Historians-Office/299057299891) Hopefully they will be able to tell us something about it, they seem to know everything about Lockport (I sure miss the place sometimes). I didn't remember there being...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Wow!!! Lockport is my home-town. Harrison Radiator was the largest employer in town when I was a kid, 'Harrison's' eventually became Delphi, but there was a lot of industry in the area prior to 'urban renewal.' I'm interested to find out more about that jack!
