I have been wanting to try this mod for a couple years. I have some extra cash & coupons to pull the trigger on it. I’ll take pictures for sure & post them.
I looked into doing it on the series 1 single drawer service cart & it is possible. The only modification is to the bottom mounting holes on the side shelf that will need to be raised/slotted for alignment.

Could someone share the measurement of the distance between the carriage bolts that mount the handle on the 4 drawer cart? I have an idea about doing a little mod work to another cart...

The top has a rolled lip on both sides that allows the 7 drawer to hang on the edge of a tool cart or roller box. They included carriage bolts & nuts to fasten the side cabinet to the roller box thru the existing holes. The 5 drawer cart doesn't have the holes so you would have to drill your own...

That's what I have seen suggested by many others here so it made it a no-brainer for myself. I have enough connections where it won't be a problem to get materials, borrow a welder, then see about having it powder coated to match.
