    Personally I like to have the lift rated for twice the load that I would normally put on it. Guess I have trust issues or at least have seen too many "lift fail" videos. :)

    Asphalt or Concret

    Here in Central FL the quotes I got were very similar between the two, 450 ft x 10ft wide was within 10-15%. No brainer for concrete.

    Great point!!! This is very important if you have hot summers like we do here in FL. I have a large shop (10 car size, with 2 car of it closed in and finished off with a/c and facilities), I have one large door on each side and the difference between one door open vs. two is about 10+ degrees...
