2nd half of floor epoxy question

I used Rustoleum's product. One side of my garage is pretty much just used for my one of my toys to sit there and look pretty in. The other side is where I do all the work and I'm heading out there right now to start mixing the epoxy for that side. I want to get it spread before the heat of...

1500 sq foot of floor to epoxy, how did you deal with multiple kits?

Wow... I was paying $99/kit at Home Depot, so you were still cheaper after shipping. When I originally did it, I didn't think it was worth another $99 for the clear, then I went back a week later they had cut the price of the clear, down to $59 each. sonofa..................

2nd half of floor epoxy question

I would have loved to do that, but I had to move stuff one side to the other, so I had room to work.... and it was a LOT of stuff. LOL

2nd half of floor epoxy question

It seems that on one had any answer for this, so I decided to give it a shot anyway. What I decided to do, was that I laid a few 2"x3" studs end to end and then back taped them to the floor, with 3" wide painters tape, so it would hopefully work kind of like a dam/berm for the water to roll off...

    Problems with Liftmaster opener

Well, if the manual doesn't shed any light on your situation, at least your opener is still good for at least that :willy_nil

2nd half of floor epoxy question

I did half of my floor last week (old slab) and now I want to coat the new side next week, but I have a couple of questions. 1) for those of you that did your floors in two halves, did the etch affect the epoxy on the finished side? :dunno: 2) how did you keep the finished side from getting to...

    Patching before Etching?

No worries.... I never took you as being one anyway. I know sometimes it's easy to get taken out of context online, so I never sweat the small stuff. Anyway.... I just got in from etching the floor, so I'll be letting it dry for a few days and I'll report back. Local weather is going...

    Patching before Etching?

The problem is that I already patched, that's why I was asking if anyone has done it that way. I have no idea how it's going to turn out, because it seems no one here has ever done it that way, so for better or worse, I'm going to etch this week and see if I wasted a bunch of money or not

    Patching before Etching?

I just want to know if anyone has had experience with it, because as I stated in my last post, originally she said that I should have etched first, but then she said it SHOULD be ok after I already told her that I patched. That didn't sound like the biggest vote of confidence to me. Lot more...

    Patching before Etching?

Bumping up a slightly old thread here. I just did a bit of patching before I was ready to etch and then that thought crept into my mind. I am using Rustoleum's product so I gave them a call. They told me that I should have etched first, but if the patches are completely dry before etching, I...

    Symmetrical lift 3in concrete?

I wouldn't try to cut corners on cost with something like that. Do you even know what PSI the concrete is rated at? There is no way in hell that I would want to put a lift on 3" of a weak concrete Better to be safe than sorry in a situation like that.

Sherwin Williams Floor Epoxy and Aluminum Oxide top coat

I just left a local SW store and their product was water based. I only went there because it was on the way home from a local Lowes and their products were only water based also. finally I stopped at Home Depot and they actually had the solvent based stuff (wasn't supposed to be available in...
