Wow... I was paying $99/kit at Home Depot, so you were still cheaper after shipping. When I originally did it, I didn't think it was worth another $99 for the clear, then I went back a week later they had cut the price of the clear, down to $59 each. sonofa.................. :mad:

I would have loved to do that, but I had to move stuff one side to the other, so I had room to work.... and it was a LOT of stuff. LOL

It seems that on one had any answer for this, so I decided to give it a shot anyway. What I decided to do, was that I laid a few 2"x3" studs end to end and then back taped them to the floor, with 3" wide painters tape, so it would hopefully work kind of like a dam/berm for the water to roll off...

The problem is that I already patched, that's why I was asking if anyone has done it that way. I have no idea how it's going to turn out, because it seems no one here has ever done it that way, so for better or worse, I'm going to etch this week and see if I wasted a bunch of money or not

I wouldn't try to cut corners on cost with something like that. Do you even know what PSI the concrete is rated at? There is no way in hell that I would want to put a lift on 3" of a weak concrete Better to be safe than sorry in a situation like that.
