Sorry, I only get on here every couple days at best, sometimes a week or 2 passes.
Here's the one I got: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Fresh-Air-Screens-10-ft-x-7-ft-Garage-Door-Screen-No-Zippers-1231-A-107/202898570#.UhP2b7Io4dU
Here it is installed:
I haven't added anything to the bottom...
My wife bought me a garage door screen from Menard's for my birthday, but it was a 9x7 and the door out the back of my garage is 10x7 so I returned it. Menard's apparently doesn't do 10x7, so I went to Home Depot which is about 3/4 of a mile away. They didn't stock any, but the guy helped me...
Here's mine:
$60 on Craigslist, he had it unplugged for a while, but plugged it in when I first looked at it. Came back in about 2 hours to take it and it was already cold and no leaks (used laser temp gun). I've taken the door off and apart, cleaned the main body and mechanicals, but haven't...
I just give the new scammer an old scammer's email address and info I got when I asked where to send the "refund check".
it's probably been posted before, but there's a website dedicated to anti-scammer fun:

I moved mine about a year ago..... 9 blocks from one house to another. Mine sits on the ground on rubber pads and it was going into a big U-haul moving truck. I tilted it and slid a 4x4 chunk under the 2 legs, then tilted the other way and put 2-4x4s stacked under that leg. Next I tilted it back...
One of the guys in our club has wood floors with a hoist on top. The cabinets are kitchen-quality and it's otherwise decrated like the inside of the home with wood trimmed doors, curtains, framed pics, etc. The crazy thing is that it's a working garage. He absolutely uses it for serious work...
Thanks for the good info, I also have the same bottom box and have never liked that deep drawer. I bought another box to run side by side with it for additional space, but I'm still going to look at swapping in new drawers since it looks that cheap and easy.
It's also about volume. I bet they sell a ton more 10' lengths than the rest, so they buy those in higher volume. You see it in every industry who has a retail market. The professionals buy wholesale/direct so those places aren't as concerned with cut pieces since they know the pros will just...
I make sure my garage floor is clean and flammables are in the cabinet. Woodwork is messy, so I sweep and shop-vac the floor and surrounding area. I also use a welding blanket to cover my car, the workbench, whatever is near.
I nabbed a pile of these from our nut/bolt supplier. We changed companies and the new company puts in thier own boxes all loaded new. We had these leftover, and I actually sold 4 more. I put these in a heavy duty backer's rack with the shelves helping hold them solid. Works great.
My TV (19") hangs on a swivel from the ceiling in the back garage. I have a cable outlet also coming from the ceiling along with the power outlet so there's no dangling cords for them. I also have the DVD player hooked up to it higher up on a shelf right by the TV, and the stereo just below...
