I think I might go with spray foam to fill the cavities and top with 2" xps foam board. This will cost a bit more, but resolve the issue with a trapped air gap.
Thats nice to hear, it will be dead air and likely get super hot during the summer. I know I could vent it out each end or possibly blow in insulaton. I just don't want to find I made a big mistake.
I have a morton building with rafters spaced at 21.5 inches going the length of the building, 1/2 inch of foam board then sheetmetal. The rafters are 2x4's. I want to use foam board, and the easiest would be to screw it to the underside of the rafters. This would leave 3 1/2" of dead air...
I have had the Rocket Dual Power Tower Light in my card for months. $50 off seems like a good deal but I have yet to pull the trigger. I know it will go off sale real soon but I also bet it will be bundled for less in the future. I seem to remember it being about $140 in recent bundles. I do...
Milwaukee Forge 6.0 on sale(ish). This hopefully is the beginning of bigger sales and combo deals with it.

I have been eyeing the Milwaukee 2460 Rotary tool as my dremel corded is failing. Then along comes the brushless 2525 rotary tool and I have been hoping for a sale but its too new.
Being a tool snob and always going Fuel if I can, will the brushed version leave me wishing I had paid more for...
Personally I am waiting for the 6ah forge to start being discounted. I have one and compared to the 6AH HO its lighter and delivers more power. Its perfect for using on my string trimmer for quick cleanup around the house. Much lighter.
Well I stumbled on this and grabbed it.https://www.homedepot.com/p/M12-FUEL-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-High-Speed-3-8-in-Ratchet-and-M12-FUEL-3-in-Cut-Off-Saw-Kit-2567-22HOC/325664332
Did a quick count and have at least 37 M18 and 4 M12 tools. 3 12v Dewalt tools. Most are Fuel as I learned early on brushless is more powerful. Started my cordless life with a Dewalt 18v DW4PAK-2. Used the sawzall a lot and those dewalt batteries just didn't last. Had to replace them yearly...
