I will be starting my shop build shortly. I will mostly be on my own but will definately be getting help to raise the walls. Since I will be on my own, my plan so far was to build all 4 walls on the 30x40 cement pad. Two walls, one 30' and one 40', have no windows/doors so I will build those...

I'm in Canada. We have had winter temps this year to -40 F with the winds.

My plans are to build a 30x40 shop this spring. I will be heating the shop (maybe wood) only when I need it. I will be building another room within that will be 2x6 construction and fully insulated. I would like to keep this room heated at all times, just warm enough to keep tools/paint...
