    Tractor Supply Deals Thread

Might be targeted but I got an email today saying to log in to the app and get 100 points. That equates to $100 spent in TSC points land.

Open Air Duck Run: Help balance cost and structural integrity

This is what I am after! Consulting span tables, building code, etc, etc makes it a Taj Mahal when it might not need to be. I don't need to cut the budget so bad as to rip 2x4s in half but I am wondering if there is some cost savings when it comes to holding a simple metal roof.

Open Air Duck Run: Help balance cost and structural integrity

Ducklings come next week, so come back and I promise to post them. However here are some from my previous flock.

Open Air Duck Run: Help balance cost and structural integrity

Settled in our new property and are starting our flock of ducks again. This time around we are wanting a large run for them to reside at all times unless we are supervising them out. If material costs were normal (Read: $3/2x4) I would end up overbuilding. Then again, this is for ducks not a...

Buying land without a current survey

Just closed the book on (I hope) the survey chapter of our new 6 acres a couple weeks ago. The only 'survey' was back in the 70's when it was originally divided from a huge piece of land. My western boundary was marked due to a new house going in next to me in the 90's. We purchased just 2...

    ~28x28 Steel Garage Questions

Thanks guys. I am headed out there next week and am going to dig down some. I do know the previous owner was a logger so I am hoping either 1) there was a structure on it before or 2) The slab is pretty beefy. Always a fun adventure to be had.

    ~28x28 Steel Garage Questions

Attached some pics of the above grade area. Excuse the mess, previous owners have not yet moved completely and I have not worked my weed whacker magic. Pretty non conventional for a structure. Ideas?

    ~28x28 Steel Garage Questions

Purchased a property in Oregon with an existing 30x30 concrete pad. Two corners are 4' above grade but finished with a nice thick concrete retaining wall. Calling around, a 28x28 is the largest I can go with the pad size and grade. Spec: 28x28x12 (Wall height) metal building. One 10'x10' door...

    Northwest Paint: Rodda, Miller, other?

Just painted our house (First time DIY) and used Evolution by Miller. It turned out incredibly well and I was really happy. Expensive, but I only did a single coat via sprayer and it was THICK. They were really helpful. One trick is to go by Costco and buy Miller gift cards, it is essentially...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I purchased my first (new) Milwaukee set. I got a combo kit from Home Depot. The M12 drill driver and impact driver w/ battery and charger. Love the impact but I have a slight problem. The direction switch seems really loose and easy to change. Between operations it often gets stuck in the...

    SDS/SDS+ Shank Ship Auger Bit?

There are a few, but none that fit my needs. Would an SDS+ to 1/2" chuck be advisable?

    SDS/SDS+ Shank Ship Auger Bit?

I am needing to drill some 1/2" holes in timbers to drive 1/2" rebar into. I cannot seem to find a good selection of ship auger bits with an SDS or SDS+ shank. Unfortunately the only corded drill I have up to the task is an older Milwaukee Hawk. Anyone know of a source for once of these? I would...

    Toolbox I can ship

Awesome suggestions guys. Well I thought I was purchasing but boss went out and bought two of these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005HNJQAU/?tag=atomicindus08-20 before I could come back with some alternatives. I asked what we were carting them with, he said my hands. Not excited to lug it around...

    Toolbox I can ship

I am looking for a small handheld toolbox that can withstand the trials of UPS. Ramping up a deployment at work and some places I will not be driving. Those locations require me to either check the toolbox or UPS it to the location. I know Pelican, and I own one myself, but I am looking for...
