I have that Honeywell T-stat and yes it works as it should but.... it does not give you how long the unit has run or any details on times etc... I like it but wish it would give me more info. The app is good, web is better. The Nest gives you reports of how long the unit has run per day etc...

I would also bring up the fact that 3'x4' single hung windows do not meet egress codes for any sleeping rooms in the house part of the building.

My local Lowes didn't have the jack in stock but found one at another store about 60 miles away and transferred it in for me. We shall see if it comes.

My local utility had to move my meter as part of an upgrade and I told them they could put it where they wanted as long as they added the "T" so I could run a line to the future garage when I was ready. They even installed a shut off before the "T" that is lockable.

No, No, No....This is a 3-1/2 car garage attached to a house. The subfloor covers the basement on the house portion of the build. Look at the pictures a little closer and you can see the house part.
