Got one years ago as a gift and will never give it up. Was my "bench" for many years. Even now that I have a true work bench, the workmate still gets called into duty, especially when I'm doing projects and need some workspace away from the bench.

Neat old finds. I wonder how the speed wrench would clean up and what brand it is. I've never seen that round handle style before. Pretty cool.

You will be happy it's an AC/DC unit in the long run. Much more useable than an AC only unit. The older welders were built well, so once you clean it up, it should be in great shape. Let us know how it works.
