I don't know if this has been covered exactly... I know the topic of swapping comfort grip handles out for hard handles has been covered in the past, but I haven't found anyone specifically listing handles and the ratchets they used with them, especially for the newest releases from Snap On...

Empty, it can be done. I did it with 3 or 4 guys and pulling half it out of the bed and setting it on the ground, then lifting the front half while the truck was moved away. Loaded, there's no way I'm moving it unless it's a very slight angle ramp going onto a trailer. I did hear of a guy...

There's only 1 good solution....flatbed tow truck. That's usually how guys that work in shops move their big boxes. The only other option would be a winch mounted to a low trailer with smooth ramps.

It is a bit harder, but it is do-able. Like I said before, once I get the 3/8 impact, I'll probably order another and try trimming the front end to give your fingers more room to grab the release ring.

I received both boots this week (they came in bliss-packs). I currently do not have the M18 Fuel 3/8" impact (plan to order it yet), but I do have the 1/4" hex impact. The boot fits the body fine, as anticipated, but the rubber is a bit close to rubbing on the release ring and doesn't completely...

I just noticed something on the 2654 (3/8" impact) parts list PDF from Milwaukee's site (link) They have the boot listed as 49-16-2754, but I am unable to find it anywhere online. There is currently no boot on the 2763 (1/2" impact) parts list PDF. Just thought I'd share.
