    Kilz

After sheeting the inside of my pole barn with OSB, I went to Sherwin Williams. They tried to sell me on some $40 a gallon oil primer. I headed over to Lowes and grabbed a Zinsser product for $17. Smells strong and goes on thick. But it worked great...

I'm also pretty close. I'd be interested in seeing what kind of products that they have.

32x32 pole barn non-insul. Wood stove?

From my agent...... The secondary residence is in reference to my cabin.... Citizens will not insure it. They actually changed their guidelines to require a primary heating source to be required ( in addition to a woodstove) for the secondary residences. They made an exception for yours...

32x32 pole barn non-insul. Wood stove?

Greg- I'm in the same boat 30x40 se Michigan more wood then money. I have access to a few old wood burners. I am just not sure if it's worth the hassle vs kerosene until I run NG and insulate it. Btw calling my insurance agent today, I'll ask her thoughts. Thanks and let me know what u do.

    Animal smell in barn

Thanks! In the few months we have been here, sometimes it feels big and other times it feels not soo big. I think the key is to remember that its a shop and not storage.

    Animal smell in barn

Yeah there are many "miracle" chemicals, but some things are tried and true. If you dont mind me asking... Vietnam?? if so, my father was a dog handler.

    Animal smell in barn

Very true James, and I do have a 2 car garage. After my wife pulls in, I get maybe 3/4s of a spot, lol. My truck would go in the barn before the mustang does (if it still smells). More then likely my truck would sit outside. Good thinking no reason to risk it!

Very true Strouty. I have used fork mounted scaffolding (my FILs) with the tractor. I'd probably just weld in some slots to a cross member maybe make them pin mountable to the A frames. I would just have to roll it outside with soo little room to lift it. Hide it back in the woods if I want...

Thanks Strouty. It kinda fell into my lap, but I figured at 150 that I couldn't go too wrong. And its alot cheaper then the damage I might do to my trusses using them in a bind.

Ceilings are open trusses and I could pull it out front of the barn but like to keep outside nice and tidy. Thanks Everyone!

First, thanks for all the information and Comments Second, I know the right side A frame is spun around. I copied the pictures from before I deconstructed and didnt think about it. Luckily I noticed before I did both of them. And with just me around today, I figure it would be better to wait...
