I wouldn't store it outside. Especially under a deck where it will be attacked by moisture and critters that want a new home. A classic 96 would be like an apartment building for mice.
Saw the Dark blue ones on the truck last week, It looked so sweet! I don't need a another 3/8'' ratchet though so I was having trouble justifying buying it.
Love my 4" Makita. Goin on 12 years old now. still runs like new. I never so much as cleaned the thing. It was pretty inexpensive too ,cant remember what I payed for it.I have a 4.5'' Dewalt as well that's pretty good. The Makita just seems lighter and more maneuverable.
I'm in the market for a 3/4'' set as well and was gonna go with an SK set because all the sockets and ratchets i have are either SK or Snap On but then I saw the price!I expected to see the SK set for a lot less than the Snap On set . Needless to say I don't want to spend anywhere near a...
Looks to be the older version of what is now the KRA-4813.The KRA-4813 is around $2k new.You can prob find the 4813 for the same price as that one and you would gain a full length top drawer. That price is decent providing its in near mint condition.
Got this old craftsman box this weekend from a garage sale in my neighborhood. It came with a few files,punches,2 adjustable wrenches.$8 later I have a new tool box to keep in the truck.I'll use it for pliers/screwdrivers and what not to keep with a craftsman ratchet/socket set in my truck.
You can get a 3/8'' drive set from SK that contains both shorts and deeps to 7/8'' in SAE and 19mm in Metric including a ratchet and 2 extensions for around 200 bucks. A set comparable to that in snappy would be over $500.I have tools from both manufactures and am very happy with both. They have...
I've seen the triple square bolts mostly used on VW and some BMW's in various areas-axles ,headbolts, manifold bolts etc. I have a set of triple squares from Lisle, I don't remember them costing and arm and leg and they're fine. For me that's a once in a blue moon tool so I don't see the need for...
I've owned my KRA4107 (40"single bank) for about 11 years now and have packed it to the gills to the point that I have to take tools out to get to tools so yea it was time to expand. My dealer offered me a really good trade in value to step up to a larger roll cab but I couldn't do it. I like to...
I pretty much stick with Channel lock for all my pliers except for diagonal cutters which are Klein, IMO Klein makes the best diag cutter. No need to drop a ton of dough on truck brand pliers. As far as specialty pliers like retaining ring pliers and such I stick with Martin. Martin is often...
Snap On CT661 3/8'' cordless and CTS661 1/4" cordless.I love these two tools. They really increased my speed at work and I didn't expect them to be as powerful as they are. They feel great in my hand too, super comfortable.
