Broken water service line, 710,600 gallons of water used this billing period, (every 3 months)

Call a leak detection company. They will find the locate the leak for you. Then you can dig and fix or hire it out.. They can use correlating loggers, ground mic, or He. Either way it will be much cheaper than replacing the entire line.

    2022 Home Depot's deals/sales/clearance thread

Gladiator hooks are on "special buy" today; it appears they are 15% off. I've had trouble finding any deals on these since the end of Sears... I miss the good old days where I'd get these for free with points!!

Show me your car wash setup, wall mounted pressure washers

Everything is relative, and yes, I need a pressure washer to wash a car. I enjoy detailing and keeping my cars pristine. Since I've gone down the rabbit hole of detailing, there are defects I notice now that most people won't even notice and washing a car improperly causes 90% of those defects...

    Broken water line

Look up a leak detection service. There are a couple of methods: - Correlating loggers (only works on metallic lines) - He Leak detection - pump helium into line and detect with a helium detector One of these methods should be able to pinpoint the leak

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Attempted to clean my gutters with pressure washer extension poles / specialized nozzle. What a waste, didn't work at all. My house is 3 stories at the corner and I really dislike being up there scooping out leaves. It was difficult to control and ineffective. I went back to my old method of my...

    How to find drain pipe

Find a local utility locating company. This is literally 30 minutes of work. They will snake the line with a detectable duct rod and locate the line. Most are also able to video inspect the line if you so desire.

In praise of the snow blower MOD

Thanks for starting this thread. I've been meaning to do this for years. I ordered from ebay and I installed it yesterday. I was surprised at how "uncentered" my impeller was in the shaft. I had to adjust all the rubber flaps after installing, so there will be a smaller gap on one side and it...

    SATA 120XP Ratchet Set $53.39

I picked these up for $53. I have only used them once but seem to be identical to GW. I have the GW 84T flex head, sometimes the flex is annoying so picked these up. I have plenty of other ratchets but love the high tooth count feel.
