    Are these good welding m

Any ‘working’ welder is a goog one. Might not be able to join thick material but you can use it and learn. Take a class, there are things you can learn in classes that you would never learn with even fifteen years of welding experience.

New Door Lifiting up Crooked - Frustrated

I tighten them pretty good, to the point that they indent the pipe but not crush it. Then paint every bolt that holds spring tension bright red if it’s not already so people know bad things will happen if the touch it! The pipe will not be thick enough to strip the drum or bolt.

New Door Lifiting up Crooked - Frustrated

The cables have to be the exact same length and the drums have to be set on the shaft in the same orientation to each other. This will pull the door evenly on each side.

Who has a Mohawk or Nussbaum 2 post?

I have a Mohawk system 1 at home, love it. No floor plates, cables or sheet metal post to deal with. It does cost more then the bendpaks or rotary lifts at the shop but after seeing the quality it didn’t matter. It’s rated at 10,000 but can handle 15,000 if you are in a bind. Nice to drop a...

    Trailer wheel bearing question

as stated above, spindles are very repairable and can take some damage. they are heat treated to increase the strength so you dont want to heat them up with out retreating them. the pictures you posted are closer to the replace end of a repair. you have lots of gouges in the outer bearing seat...

    Intermittent compressor no-start trouble-shooting

As stated above, check the breaker. Breakers are thermal protection if its happening at start up it would take a lot of power to heat up the breaker that fast (like a bad motor or wiring). They have arc fault breakers that will trip if an arc is detected, i had problems with some power tools...

    Sagging ridge line

one jack in the middle of the 2x4 will do. run a 2x6 along side the 2x4. jack up the 2x4 untill its above the bottom of the 2x6 then nail the 2x6 to the 2x4 so the 2x6 will share the load. then you can install sheet rock etc.

    Sagging ridge line

Hi, I would check the walls with a simple level to determine if they are bowing. then use a pole jack to level out the 2x4's and just sister them with a 2x6. do one at a time. you are asking just a little too much from the 2x4's. from the pictures it does not look that bad.
