    Does that unit have battery backup? I'm pretty sure thats what that says. If so have you had a hcnace to use it on battery? We had a 5 hour power otuage this AM and it would have been nice to operate the garage door. Does this have an advanced feature like WiFi so you cna tell when its open...

    Do they make garage door handle delete plates?

    Another option could be to disengage the guts of the handle or in some other way disable the operation of the handle so its just a dummy handle and just keep the handle on the door.

    What type of windows suits garages better

    I vote for None. Some one kept trying to break into my parents garage so he put up plywood to block the window. I was happy when we pruchased our house and there wer no windows in the garage. My hope is they can't steal what they can't see.
