BLACKHAWK! Advanced Tactical Briefcase - Black

I bought this a few months ago for my travel carry-on, but I apparently carry too much **** around with me. I've decided to get something bigger. The bag is is like new shape. I've taken about four flights with it. It shows no wear. Here is a link to the product on the Blackhawk site...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

I have to second the additional work bench comment. Very nicely done, Jack. And I now know why you chose green for your color scheme. Its for the "green with envy" that we all feel looking at your garage. You have turned a small garage into a masterpiece!

Yes, but adding a power feed is possible from what I understand. ZRX61: I love the handles on the Tiger. I vote for red paint inside the grooves.

Beefy is for sure. My brother and his son carried the top half, half way from a shed behind the house to the truck before gravity took over and it was put down under less than full control. It took reinforcements to finish the load out.

Yes, it is an Enco. I picked that one up from CL, but I'm pretty sure that you can still buy them new. Grizzly also has a good selections of imported machines. Going from a worn out Jet drill press to the mill-drill has been awesome. I haven't needed to mill with it yet, but basic...

Here is the mill-drill that I just picked up for work. The base that it came with was totally under engineered for my liking, so I whipped one together.

This is my brother's radial drill press that he just picked up for $100. His son took care of the clean up / restoration.

    work bench top

I'll second the steel vote. IMO, get 1/8" or thicker. If you use the aluminum and have something heavy to put on the bench, you may end up just putting divots in the bench top. Plus, heavy steel items will dig into (or at least resist sliding) the aluminum when you try to slide them around...

It looks like those old Craftsman drill presses are pretty popular. I found mine in a basement of an estate sale. He is named Leroy for obvious reasons. The only thing I have done is replace the belts and add the cross vise.

Tons of tools!! Garage sale WARNING APPARENT SCAM

FWIW, I received what I bought from him (blue point screw extractor kit). He even sent it to me twice. Once it was returned to him with a "address does not exist" stamp on it and then once more when it finally got here. Both times were on his dime. I'm not saying that he is 100% legitimate...

    Best one-line advice?

If it f*cks, flys or float, you are better off renting it. You can pour syrup on **** but it don't make it flapjacks. God hates cowards. Go for it! Good enough never is.

    PVC vs rubber air hose?

FYI: HF has made in USA Goodyear rubber hoses for a good price. There is usually a coupon for 20% off in your favorite mag. Well, maybe your 2nd favorite mag.

I value your opinion- what pocket knife are you carrying?

I have carried Gerber (The first edition of the one w/ the clip), Cold Steele, Spyderco (Rescue, Civilian & a few others) and a few Benchmades. By far, Benchmade is the best folding knife I have owned. It is reliable and serviceable.
