Anyone else a Sun Equipment junkie??

This is an old post, if your still on here, I just acquired a TUT-915. The dwell wasn't working. I suspect troubleshooting these back in the day would involve replacing circuitboards one at a time or testing them in a working unit. Having no schematics, my troubleshooting is to inspect the...

    Don’s Den of Dandy Delights

Okay, here are the two swap meet finds. Also, some old graphite from my Uncles place stored in a tobacco can due to the mess that results from just looking at it. Very unlike him as a fisherman, to open a container upside down. BTW, Lubriplate 3000 is always my grease gun.

    Don’s Den of Dandy Delights

Funny you mention that. Because the other tube/box I bought from the same seller was the Raybestos product for the application you describe. Not sure of its vintage. I'd post a pic but don't want to hijack your thread.

Swap meet a while back saw a Lubriplate tube in the box and of course had to have it. The box is green/black/white tho. Nice find there Don.

Found: 1945 Kent Moore Work Station

That's fabulous! Hope someday to stumble upon one of those in the same old abandon garage that haunts my dreams, alongside the big-block C2 Vette.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Tried out my new twenty dollar Thor 7" bench grinder. Half the price of the 6" acquired ten years ago. Took off the covers and used a wire wheel to clean up a few engine bolt ons. Works great. Those things just run forever. (Even when you shut them off) Now to find an 8" and 10" for what is...

97'Tahoe, front brakes (pads/rotors) DS was down to the squealer. Also, e-brake indicator switch that had been sitting on my bench in plain sight for 15 months. A tiny *** of plastic had broken off the old one. That is all that keeps them from pivoting out of position when the e-brake is...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Lots of painting this past month. Earlier had done the interior plastic parts outdoors during the heat wave, had cooperation from the birds as well. Found SEM 15273 Napa Red to be an excellent match to the original Oxblood/Maroon interior. Dash came from the donor. Yes, those are the legs of...

After degreasing and wire wheeling every nook and cranny of the low milage engine from the Chevelle parts car, finally sprayed it. The project car is a Laguna S-3.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

According to the test strip, it was time to replace the Dexcool in the old '97 Tahoe. Got on that after breakfast. After the fan and shroud and rock guard were off I placed every tub I had under the drain and rad support. Measured the volume that drained out. Then a few water refills and run...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Removed the front doors from the more door Chevelle parts car. Going after the hinges which are as usual in much better condition than the 2DRCPE. Almost ready to dispose of the carcass.

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Mikes Man Cave

We can get dumps of 18 inches, then turns to rain and saturates the snow. So far it has held. Saying that with fingers crossed. Built with Douglas Fir tho.
