    I am a licensed contractor for what it is worth. In my humble opinion your footers are not below the frost line. This would explain why it was good before winter. Did you have a permit/inspections? I wish you well. Harry.

    I may be wrong,but I think because that panel is a sub the connection between the 2 returns (copper and white wire)is not to be joined together like you have it. Nice work the place is looking good.

    Do anyone have carpet in your garage?

    I demolished a really nice house that had carpet in the garage once. hot exhaust caught it on fire. I also built them a new house with no carpet.

    Paint - is it really never allowed to freeze?

    If your latex paint is bad you know as soon as you open it. It really stinks. If it does not you can just strain it and use it. Harry
