A few times Ace hardware has had some really good sales, but it's been awhile. Really I stopped watching for them. And I bought a bunch of Milwaukee stuff from there. Got at my local Ace.

I feel like you could be talking about the SnapOn Cynergy ratchets. :) I am still on the fence about those. Have not used them enough to say, I just keep using other ratchets instead; and I do not use them often enough to have them in a strong rotation.

If you can get overdrive, no. Otherwise... Well, I have not tried Tekton wrenches or modern Craftsman regular wrenches. I do like my Tekton ratchets and I liked their discontinued screwdrivers...

I prefer the overdrive versions of them... Ok, I really like the overdrive. Never had a problem with the standard versions but I prefer the overdrive or Wright tools with Wright Grip 2.0 I think you will be fine with them.
