Painting hand tools - Does it work out?

I never asked him while he was alive, but I believe that my grandfather painted a bunch of his tools so he could quickly identify them from other people's tools in the shop....

What knife are you carrying today?

That looks suspiciously like a Gerber that I carried back in the '70s and '80s on the farm (mostly the '80s). Yours looks like it has been sharpened a wee bit more than mine. I wasn't jamming mine into the dirt. Great knife. My mother purchased it for me. I was very surprised.

    The Facom Tools Thread.

Since you guys bring it up, where is the R1Pico set and made that everyone seems to like and was wildly copied by everyone. And my tiny little brain. I believe it is currently made in Taiwan, but I think it used to be made in Europe... But every bit of that is speculation. I assume it's...

    New Milwaukee MiUSA screwdrivers

For some things yes, but, I have a set of quarter inch sockets that came with ratchets and it sells for like $3,000 from snap-on. I think I spent a couple hundred dollars on Proto and I have a full set of metric sockets quarter inch and 3/8 in. The snap on is packaged in a nice easy to...

    Anyone else like Channellocks?

Zoro also sells the gloves. I don't know if they have that specific love, but they do sell gloves from channel lock

    New Milwaukee MiUSA screwdrivers

I still like mine. They look similar to the not made in the USA but they feel different in my hand. They've held up well for me... I've still never used the hole in a screwdriver except when I need to run a cord through it if I'm going up somewhere and I don't want it to fall. I do know people...

    Why the heartburn with Craftsman?

Try wright tools, they are beefier compared to Craftsman. I don't have any snap-on wrenches to compare to

Knock-Offs/Fakes of Milwaukee High Torque 1/2 Drive Impact Wrench, 2967-20 - What to Look Out For

I bought a set, got some duplicates. Purchased a different one with different specs.... Maybe I don't need both

Knock-Offs/Fakes of Milwaukee High Torque 1/2 Drive Impact Wrench, 2967-20 - What to Look Out For

A few times Ace hardware has had some really good sales, but it's been awhile. Really I stopped watching for them. And I bought a bunch of Milwaukee stuff from there. Got at my local Ace.

First impression of ICON G2 ratchets

I feel like you could be talking about the SnapOn Cynergy ratchets. :) I am still on the fence about those. Have not used them enough to say, I just keep using other ratchets instead; and I do not use them often enough to have them in a strong rotation.

First impression of ICON G2 ratchets

I was on a Matco truck just to try the Eight8s, I bought more than one... I was very impressed with the feel.

    Why the heartburn with Craftsman?

If you can get overdrive, no. Otherwise... Well, I have not tried Tekton wrenches or modern Craftsman regular wrenches. I do like my Tekton ratchets and I liked their discontinued screwdrivers...

    Why the heartburn with Craftsman?

I prefer the overdrive versions of them... Ok, I really like the overdrive. Never had a problem with the standard versions but I prefer the overdrive or Wright tools with Wright Grip 2.0 I think you will be fine with them.

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

Can't disagree. I have this set in my basement at home... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D5CW16CB?tag=atomicindus08-20 Oddly, the 11 set of SAE wrenches has some not included in the big set (and I think the big set had one not in the 11 set, but would need to check my notes).
