I think if it fails after so many years and I can't fix it or get parts I will throw it away. A long lasting tool is a good problem to have...
When purchased it was literally the only thing available... For light work I just grab one of my battery operated tools.
They're the people who develop the oscillating tool so for a long time they were the only game in town if you wanted one and I bought one before there was one available from any other company... In other words, that was a long time ago and that same oscillating tool is still working just fine...
I'm adding a bunch of new ones to review And there are some that I assume to be favorites by many here that surprisingly i really didn't like..
but this one... Love the Wiha.
I'm still waiting on at least one more to arrive so that I can finish up and post.
