I was just at Kuhlman's in Toledo asking the same things. The have a couple sealer options that are pretty cost effective. One is Kuhlman's Ultimate Sealer and another option is a "densifier." The densifier sprays on in thin coats and leaves a glossy-ish finish. I recommend going over and...
And here's some exterior photos as the landscaping is growing in a bit. The next phase in the coming year or so is to rip out the deck and create a new outdoor space from the house to the garage. But that's for another day.
I guess I didn't phrase that well. What I meant is that it's easier to keep a sealed floor clean as opposed to an unfinished floor. Dust and dirt sweeps up easier.
This side of the garage is part project area and part lounge space.

Ok, it's been a while since I've posted and so I thought I'd just post the photos of where things are about 6 months in. I still have no floor covering as of yet. I'm looking at simply applying a clear concrete sealer to keep the dust down. I'll get some exterior pics taken, but here's what...

Maybe some pictures would help us visualize? Adding another bay makes it sound like it's just off to the side of the existing garage, and you could just add a slanted slab for entrance. My recent project had a concrete slab approach approximately 18' wide by 24' long for $2,300, including cost...
Today the 45,000 btu Mr. Heater natural gas heater was installed and hooked up! So now I have two sources of heat for the garage. First, I have the insulated heat run from the house. It has been up and running for a couple of weeks and has kept the garage above freezing and has melted the ice...
Winding up the project and getting ready to move into the garage. All that remains for the contractor is to install and hook up the gas heater. I really couldn't be happier with the new space and can't wait to get settled into it and start "making it mine." I did order a basketball hoop for...
Awesome garage and very well planned and executed....I think your brick looks great. It's extremely difficult to match brick and the picks of the end result are very nice. And having just finished my garage with just a front brick, I would also congratulate you on your choice of full brick on...
