The Lugzsonian - A Virtual Tour

Ahh! You caught me in a preconceived notion--focusing on the clear blue sky and sand colored building and ignoring the green grass and the multitude of trees in the background. You've mentioned traveling to Fort Huachuca in the past and it does have the occasional tree.

Ha! We had a flight surgeon whose nickname was The Shocker and whom we constantly accused of wearing his class ring during physical exams. Getting back to the Auto Hobby Shop--for those unfamiliar with this kind of military "benefit", it, along with all other MWR (Morale, Welfare & Recreation)...

Forged Steel Products Co. Vacuum Grip Pliers Thread--Pre Snap-on

Interesting! As I noted to @snapmom, the recently upload catalog shows the larger VP-6 punch set, but not a set with only three punches. https://archive.org/details/forged-steel-products-catalog/001%20Forged%20Steel%20Products%20Catalog/page/14/mode/2up Perhaps @FSP Vac. Tools can comment on...

2026 Garage Sale Thread (15th Annual)

To put it mildly, I've been preoccupied lately. We planned and took a couple of trips, re-connected with some old friends, thought seriously about downsizing--which, counter-intuitively, brought up kitchen modernization to SWMBO's mind--which led her to drag me around town to be assailed by...

Okay, I've been absent for a spell and am way behind, but I read this page and @INSP380 ***** for the machinist tools and the S-K box, while @3baygarage ***** for his free cabinets. Now lets move on to @Jacobs976. Now, I live for subtle humor and sarcasm, so this caught my attention...

^^^ Keen observation and absolutely correct. However, the distance between latitude lines remain a constant 60nm, and on nautical charts, that's where the scale is to measure distances.

It looks like your previous opisometer was a simple device that indicated inches and centimeters measured. Simply apply the result to the scale of whatever chart you're using to derive the actual distance. Your new device has a fixed ratio that may have been designed for a specific chart. I'm...
