    Walmart, Kmart, TG&Y

In going through swap meets, there are plenty singletons of these listed brands. There are vendors at Spring and Fall Carlisle that have tubs of tools to root through if you are looking for these. Usually anywhere from $0.25 to $1.00 each, you can score a deal if you are collecting these names...

Old Jack Stand - Need help to ID

I've known them as all the above and also screw jacks. Could be a Badger jack, the emblem's wear doesn't leave a lot to work with. Regardless, a nice jack and a good find.

    Railroad Tools Big & Small

I was gifted a rail car mover last fall, complete with a knuckle-buster guard. It belonged to an older gentleman I know who said he was tired of tripping over it in his shop. New Badger #5 Advance Car Mover Appleton, Wisconsin.

Sprays, Lubricants, Oils, Greases: Favorites and Requirements?

Gibbs Oil and PB Blaster. I use them both for freeing rusted bolts/nuts and also for rust prevention on cleaned metal. Cleaners, lubricants, etc, are whatever I have on hand.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Cleaning cast iron pans using electrolysis. I've learned that 1 - patience is the key and 2 - for bigger pieces, my 5-gallon bucket is way too small.

    oil absorbent pads

Pig mats/booms. As mentioned, they are not cheap, but they do soak up oil. In a pinch, I've used cat litter.

    Refrigerator Door Problems

This. Check the auto closing pieces on the hinges if you replace the bushings. These can cause problems leading to the refrigerator not keeping the contents cool.

If you have to watch the weather, you need more garage space..

I know more people who have to move stuff out of garages to work on other things than don't. Seems to be standard operating procedure for most. Myself included.

Your longest possession in tools thread

Craftsman toolbox with 1/2 and 3/8 drive ratchets and socket sets along with a set of Allen wrenches and ignition wrenches. The girl I was dating Christmas of 1981 gave me the set, I still use it today.
