Above 1200 Sq/FT North Central Oregon shop

I really like having hardware on hand, and for years bought every bolt bin I came across, which ended up being a unorganized mess. When I built this shop, I planned out a hardware room to keep stuff tidy and out of the way, and sold most of my random bolt bins, kept only the good assortments and...

The Mill and lathe are actually on craigslist for sale right now ! I just don't use them very often and have friends with the same equipment for the rare occasion I need to machine something. They are just something I wanted since taking the classes in high school, so I shopped around and...

Well, I don't sweep very often !!! I usually use a leaf-blower when the wind is right !(and, shamefully, I don't do that much either !!) I don't even watch the TV in my house, so don't need one in the shop, and I don't have internet out there (yet)

Thank you ! It's not quite done yet, i still need to finish the interior and get the top and hood put on it, but it's pretty fun as-is ! It took me about 3 years to get it to this stage, I stared with a bare Brookville body and a frame.

I have really enjoyed the ideas and information I have gleaned from this website over the years, so I guess its my turn to take the time to post some pictures of my shop. I live at 2300 ft elevation, so not real harsh winters (normally) I did insulate the "workshop" room with R21 fiberglass...

    PoleBarn shop Question

While my buildings have all been standard "delta rib" type material, not the 4" deep corrugations like yours, I have had good luck with contacting a local metal roofing/ siding manufacture and getting some sheet metal "angle iron" custom made. It wasn't very expensive, way less than buying...
