I don't know, but it could be. I first got to know him when he lived in Louisiana. When his wife passed he moved to Oregon. There he remarried. I think he was in his mid-90's when I met him in Bend in 2010, but I'm not positive..

Rob had an unbelievable collection. He met me in Bend, OR one time and showed me notebooks full of pictures of what he had.

Is that a part of George Robin's collection. He was in Oregon when he passed away, but someone in Northern California bought his collection.

I've got one somewhere, I'd just have to dig it up.

It is not in my 1950 Proto catalog. Is it possible that someone put the Proto plaque on a different tool box?

These are the only other mechanic tools in the 1948 Firestone Catalog. I'll have to dig out my midget set to get a picture of the cross bar.

This is all I've been able to find on the original Firestone sets.

It looks like they were both made by Plomb. I have two of the Firestone 1/4" sets. One has the pebble breaker bar, and the other has the round one.

Bog Manufacturing of Chicago. It's a company that Plomb Tool Company bought out.

I'm missing the -5, -9, -12 and -14. Interestingly enough I have a dual marked 6" extension - 4761/NAF 39120-22, and a 4795/NAF 39120-21.The set calls out for an NAF 1108-13 (which I have), and an NAF 1108-12.

I'm missing several pieces from my set.

I didn't take any pictures of the 5466, and the part is in one of the sets I have that are buried in my garage. When I get to that area I will pull it out and take a picture. I did not record what type of finish it has.

I have one round handled 5466, but all of my 5467's are pebble.

All I can say is that I didn't buy it.
