Vintage ratcheting screwdriver with a u-shaped cutout for bits

Similar to the Yankee ratcheting screwdriver that takes a side cutout on the inserted end of the bit, who made the screwdriver with a center cutout?

My first (and only) Cornwell warranty experience

I thought it would be a simple call to corporate customer service for a ratchet repair kit. WRONG Referred by email to the district manager. Called him, he cant help. Referred me to a truck route in my area. Called him, left a light detailed message NO CALL BACK. 24 hrs later. Called again...

screw driver shafts with no handles, can i re-handle them?

Try this: Drill a hole 1/16" undersized of the shaft in your (presumably) plastic handle, heat the handle end of the metal driver to way below red hot, but hot enough to deform the plastic. Wait 30 seconds. Put it to use. I have made scads of unique drivers this way.

    Antique Stanley spirit level

Oil it up, polish the brass. Place on a shelf and create your own stories. Vials are available (and very size specific), but unless you really, really want to go down that road, just let it be.

Bosch Magneto Corporation (and Other...) antique ignition wrenches

Who Fritz? I knew him BITD, and wore him around my neck occasionally, when ties were in style, pants had pleats, cuffs, mens dress shoes didn't have pointy toes and folks wore more than tank tops at work. :)

My first drill press. How did I do? (Vintage Delta)

Start expecting your drill bits to be lasting longer (vs jamming on bits with a hand drill).

    Who made this floor jack

Is it a two-piece handle? Are the fasteners metric? Those attributes would help you determine if it was USA produced.

Brake Drum Self Adjuster Gear Screw Bent?

Spock says, check the other side. Perhaps logic prevails.

DeVilbiss EGA 503 detail gun owners - have you removed this part?

See red circled item. It's "presumably" removable, as the part is stainless (magnetic) and the body is aluminum, but on either of my examples, it does not screw out for removal using minor force. Per the schematic, it does not show as separate either, nor with a replaceable part number...
