    Use them all the time on electrical switchgear ( high current switchgear up to 2000 amps ) and on medical equipment I prefer hex key heads over bolts , no issues with bolt and nut burrs . It’s subjective and job specific.

    I can not look at the crescent range in a modern tool store , it disgusts me, and it’s the country of manufacture which is the problem, go offshore, make more profit by selling inferior product. In my part of the world they have become a handyman’s tool not a tradesman tool very sad .

    I do have a pair not sure what size ( need to check ) a local has a mint boxed pair for a reasonable price, which I think I should buy. They are not a common item to find in this part of the world , unlike the UK snips,and the Wiss Aviation snips . I like the your interesting finds . Regards A

    Very nice , I have never seen a USA made crescent Box wrench ( set spanner ) in this part of the world , proto and snap on are common. That’s a great find
