Thks for the reply, don't know if anyone has ever seen such a vise. I couldn't find any info on it or see any on ebay for sale, so wondering if I had a vise that sears sold for just a little while, then stopped selling it. Anyhow thks again for your reply.

I have this old vise from 1984, it's a 4 1/4" jaws with the name of Shop 240 on the side with Japan also on it. No other markings anywhere on it. I recall buying it in our local sears store new, just wonder if anyone has any info on such a brand-named vise. It is a solid vise, not up to the...
