Thanks Guys...I've been leaning towards the Bolt Buster...The Mini-Ductor is just not in the budget for my needs. If I boughtt the Mini-Ductor it would be "Buy once and cry a lot more than once"...Unless I find a wicked good deal. I do prefer a Made in USA unit. Cheers...!!!
Hi GJ'ers...I'm starting to do some research on those induction tools that are used heaktup to break rusted fasteners loose for removal. So far, I've been looking at Induction Innovations (Mini-Ductor) and the Bolt Buster BB2X models. Do any of you have experience with these tools or willing...
John...Have you and Linda and Payton officially moved to Columbus...??? I haven't been on GJ in ages. I've been catching up on all of youze guy's issues (some you told me about and some I'm reading about for the first time). Happy really, really belated birthday. A couple of months ago, I...
I didn't try any of that. Using the planer without the dust collection made zero sense. The planer is now resting comfortably at my local Rockler dealer. Thanks to all for your time.
That makes sense because my boards are not wide at all...I've ripped them down to less width than 1 x 6 stock. I hope my dust collector isn't overwhelmed...that would be more disappointing than this planer problem.
Yes...I intend on trying to plane the boards without the dust collector but that could defeat the purpose of my collection system. If the dents go away without the dust collection, then the planer gets returned to Rockler.
The dents are very small and are more easily felt with my fingers than visual...but they are definite there. Thank you. I'll try to post some pics if I can capture them with my camera.
