Yes it adjusts from knob on bottom. Found some info on it from patent date. It is a Charles Hall combo pipe wrench and bolt wrench. photo below shows use as pipe wrench. with jaws closed it fit on square bolts !! Neat.

Picked this up today at a garage sale for a Quarter !! Only mark is pat'd mar.13 1894. Jaw swings up. It is about6 inches long. Anyone help me on ID'ing it.

Very nice vintage black and decker hedge trimmer. Still has the tag on it !! Brushes tell me this was barely used !! Still very sharp. minor surface rust as shown. Unfortunately I do not have any bushes to trim around the house, so this needs to go to someone who can use and enjoy it.model u-17...

Bought this in a box lot at an auction. Marked "185 garage equpt. Co. Mil, wis." anyone have a clue? Googled it and found out the company became gemco in 1915, so this wrench is earlier?
