Retired US Navy plus 25 yrs in Mfg & marine repair. Now fully retired but have a 2500 sq ft shop with a full machine shop and now adding more metal fabrication equipment. I have been doing some automotive repair and overhaul work to support my hobbies but due to my age (76), I really want to work in my shop on projects that I postponed for years.
About 16 years ago I purchased two 1936 International trucks, a 2 ton that is in solid, driveable, but rough condition. It came with a smaller 1 ton International that is beyond restoration but a good source of parts.
Since the trucks are over 25 ft long. Too long for my shop. So I am putting up a RV portable building (full sides and ends) on a slab so I can sand blast and paint the rusted frame and body.
So most of my posts will be about my shop and this and other projects.
See you in the forum.
