    How many Lift owners still have a jack?

    Unfortunately, my jack isn't very portable, so it's not something I'd want to throw into the car and bring it somewhere. Maybe if I had a smaller racing jack, it would be more useful. But I do like the idea of having it in case I just need to change a single tire or so. I can still see myself...

    How many Lift owners still have a jack?

    So I've had a 4-post lift for a few years, but I still have a jack and jackstands. I still used the jackstands with the lift since I only have one bridge jack, but now I've ordered a second bridge jack, so I can't see myself using the jackstands. The jack hasn't been used since I've gotten the...

    I bought my lift with the air bottle. Ended up buying another (small) compressor and disconnecting the bottle.

    Opinions on 3 car garage spacing

    Twelve feet per car, so 36' for 3-car garage. 33' would be ok, but not 30'.

    Ideal garage width and depth for cars

    There is only one correct answer to any "how big" garage question: As big as you can afford and that local codes allow.

    Wider or deeper ?

    Personally, I would go with a 3-bay garage 32' wide. Here are a couple of mockups done in Sketchup. With the doors on the 28' side, I made the garage doors 10' wide. This gives decent room all around. With the doors on the 32' side, I made them 16' and 9' wide. In both, I modeled the...

    20.5x22 = small 2 car

    If you can afford it, go with the longer garage. You will regret not getting as large a garage as you can afford, guaranteed. Also, is it possible to reverse the door so it swings outward? That would help you to park closer to the wall

    You don't mention what version of Windows you are running (I'm assuming you are using Windows), but this works in Win 8 and should work as well in Win 7. 1. Plug the phone into the computer. 2. On the phone, accept to trust the computer. 3. In Windows, open the file explorer, and there...

    4 post ramp on porcelain tiles

    Nothing fancy, just some extra material I got at a local hardware store off a roll. I think it's for flooring as an anti-slip mat, only a few mm thin. I just cut some squares, put them underneath the posts and trimmed to fit so you don't even see them.

    4 post ramp on porcelain tiles

    I have a 4-post lift on porcelain tiles. Not bolted down. I do have rubber pads beneath the posts, just to give more traction so the posts don't slide.

    4 post lift with 9.7ft celings

    Also keep in mind that the lock positions aren't infinitely variable. The resting heights of the safety locks can be adjusted slightly, but they are located every 4" or so. Bottom line, for a ceiling height of 9'7, you need cars that are around 52" or lower to be comfortable.
