Recommend me a new gun/nozzle for my sand blaster

I have a pressure pot style sand blaster that I use outdoors. The gun on it is just a 1/4 turn valve with a little piece of pipe and a metal tip on it. I've been using it more often lately and I've gone through 3 valves do to failure from wear. I'm looking to get a new gun that's easier to...

Milwaukee 1/2 impact pin detent problems

I was hoping someone would bring this up as an option. The thought had crossed my mind to pull the pin and grind a bevel around the top, maybe that would make socket changes easier. Replacement pins are only a few bucks so I guess I could give it a shot and just replace it if I really screw it up

Best LP heater for (mostly) finished detached 2 car garage

My brother and I have been running a auto shop side business for a couple of years. Business has really picked up and my brother has decided to run our shop full time. We have a detached 2 car garage on the farm that we are running it out of. It is mostly finished, insulated and dry walled...

Milwaukee 1/2 impact pin detent problems

Well, I feel foolish. I've come to realize I didnt know there was "ball detent" and "pin detent" difference. I guess my other impacts are ball detent style. I'm still learning :lol_hitti I saw there was a write-up on google about how to switch it to a hog ring. I'm going to look into...

Milwaukee 1/2 impact pin detent problems

I dont think its supposed to be this difficult. I've had at least 5 other various brand impacts, all pin detent, and none of them made it this difficult. Yes they hold the socket on well, but none of my others have ever required a pick just to get them on or off..

Milwaukee 1/2 impact pin detent problems

The pin detent on my new Milwaukee m18 1/2" impact is giving me trouble. It seems to stick out too far. I have to push it in with my finger to mount a socket on it. When I use an extension with a hole that locks onto the pin I have to use a small pick to push the pin in to get the extension...

Anyone tried the new HF Welder?

It's a very impressive welder for the money. Its puts the old Chicago Electric flux welders to shame. It says it's only rated for up to 3/16 thick material, but I has no problem doing 1/4".

    Mastercraft welding table at Menards

Yes, they are at my store in the welding section. The clamps are what caught my attention, then I noticed the tables kind of buried on the bottom shelf

    Mastercraft welding table at Menards

Does anyone have any experience with the mastercraft welding table? I am looking to replace my small, portable welding table and these seem pretty decent for the cost. I have a large table in my shop that I do most of my building on. But I have a small, fold-up table that I use when I need to...

Help me identify what I found inside a bandsaw

Tire rubbers? So they are from the wheels that the blade rides on?

Help me identify what I found inside a bandsaw

I was given a Ryobi 9in bandsaw today. I was told it was only used once or twice, then left in a barn for the last 15 years. I opened up the side cover and these bits of what look to be an old brittle rubber band fell out. Can anyone tell me where this might have came from? Maybe like a...

Milwaukee fuel 1/2" Mid torque VS High Torque usability

Well, after some thought, and all the advice from you guys, I decided I'd go ahead and stick with this mid torque model. So, I just opened the box up. And if my $100 deal wasn't already sweet enough, there is not one, BUT TWO 5.0 batteries in the case! I am thrilled!

What is your favorite X in one Screwdriver

I have a few cheapy 6 in 1 drivers spread throughout the house for "emergencies". And I have a Klein 6 in 1 that I bought for my electrical tool bag. But I find myself reaching for it alot more often than just doing electrical work. It's well made, feels good in my hand, and comes in handy, often

Flex head vs normal wrenches. Which is best?

I have sets of both and would definitely go with the flex heads I'd I had to choose between the two. It's nice to have the flexibility if I need it. And I dont understand why people say the flex heads are more bulky, because my flex and nonflex head wrenches are literally the exact same size...

Midget/stubby wrenches: any feedback on them?

The thing I realized with stubby wrenches is you dont realize how incredibly useful and handy they are until you have a set. I got by for years never really giving them much thought. But then I was given a set for Christmas that are ratcheting with swivel heads, and they have become some of my...
