6 Week Gladiator Project complete, 12 Pics!

Well, that's only 60 RU's, so that wouldn't sound so bad to the wife.

Looks great. Would you mind if I asked how much money I need to save up to get a similar result? Cheers, Rick

The Garage Make over from Start to Finish

How do you hide the project car with clear panels, especially when it's 4 feet in the air on a lift? I can't wait for you to come over so we can organize my garage. I'm guessing that your first statement is going to be, "Ok, throw out half the stuff".

Wait until he unloads all of the junk out of the trailer and fills up the garage. :) Just kidding. I have to give my friend a hard time.

The Garage Make over from Start to Finish

That's really looking nice with all the tool boxes in there now. So how does the couch fit in there to watch TV? Did you decide on the second color yet? Your wife, the architect, is probably correct. Cheers, Rick Chicagoland

    Mark blind holes?

It is an arced trim piece that is about 16 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. I don't thing it would be possible to be precise enough with a ruler. I appreciate all of the suggestions, guys. Thank you.

    Mark blind holes?

Craig, I would be concerned about getting the film transfer centered onto the new trim piece correctly. I believe it does need to be a process where I can hold the new trim in place while the holes are being marked. Dex's solution will probably work well. Thanks, Rick

Dex, That does sound like a great idea. You had understood correctly. Thanks much. Rick

    Mark blind holes?

I am replacing a body trim piece on my car. The original trim piece is just thin plastic held on by 1/8" blind rivets. There is no access to the back of the holes. So, I'm needing to transfer the location of the holes to the new trim piece. Unfortunately, I can not hold the new piece up...

Anyone got a big torque wrench to rent?

AutoZone charges you the full price of the loaner tool, when you pick up the tool. When you return the tool, they give you your money back. So, in reality, you are purchasing the used tool, and they are allowing you to return the used tool. Thus, no stealing possible. Cheers, Rick Waller
