Anything you might need sucked out. One thing I can think of off hand is a power steering fluid reservoir. Beats a turkey baster.

Thanks A29, I ended up getting the 2" ball version and it looks pretty stout. They didn't have the mounting plate in stock so I had to get it at Tractor Supply. Same piece but about $45 more, both made in China. Oh well.

I wouldn't have a problem paying more for a certain tool if the quality were actually better and still made in the USA. Take Vise-Grips for example. I was at Sears the other day going to buy a new set but guess what, "Made In China". Why would I pay $40 for something I could get at Harbor...

Finally finished reading all of that....only took me 4 days. Anyway I'll contribute a complete fail that has already been mentioned: black heat gun. I bought it and used it twice before i got the click-click-click of the fan dying...
