The old ratchets are smooth but feel clunky compared to a dual 80. Just try it, you’ll never want to use another ratchet. I’ve used my old ratchets exactly 2 times since upgrading.

I wear Thorogood wedge sole moc toes. They’re damn good, and I imagine even better with no safety toe.

So far I’ve had good luck with the snap on branded unit. I think it’s the TORCH300. My only complaint is it shuts off a little slow.
